About this plant

The fruits of Coriandrum sativum contain linalool as the dominant monoterpene in the essential oil, with carminative and antispasmodic properties. One of the world's oldest spices, with seeds found in the tomb of Tutankhamun and in 8,000-year-old Nahal Hemar cave in Israel. Mentioned in the Bible as manna falling from heaven. Used across every major culinary and medicinal tradition from Ayurveda to TCM to European pharmacy.
