2. Products

Herbarium Prints sells botanical art posters based on Köhler's Medizinal-Pflanzen (1887). All posters are printed on demand by our production partner Printful. Products are available as single posters and curated sets in seven sizes and five languages.

3. Prices and payment

All prices are displayed inclusive of VAT where applicable. We accept payment in DKK, EUR, USD and GBP. Payment is processed securely by Stripe. Your card is charged at the time of order confirmation. We accept major credit and debit cards.

4. Order confirmation

You will receive an order confirmation by email immediately after placing your order. This confirmation constitutes our acceptance of your order and forms a binding contract between you and Art by Barkwald.

5. Production and delivery

Every poster is printed specifically for your order at Printful's nearest production facility (EU or US depending on your location). Production takes 2–5 business days. After production, delivery typically takes 5–12 business days depending on your destination.

Shipping is free worldwide with no minimum order value. All orders include tracking. You will receive a shipping confirmation with a tracking link once your order leaves the production facility.

Posters are shipped flat in rigid cardboard mailers to protect against bending or creasing during transit.

Estimated delivery times are indicative and not guaranteed. We are not liable for delays caused by Printful, carriers or customs authorities, but we will always assist you in resolving delivery issues.

6. Right of withdrawal

Since every poster is printed specifically for your order and cannot be returned to stock or resold, the 14-day right of withdrawal does not apply under the EU Consumer Rights Directive, Article 16(c) — goods made to the consumer's specifications.

By placing your order you acknowledge and accept this condition.

This does not affect your statutory rights regarding damaged or defective products (see section 7).

7. Damaged, defective or incorrect orders

If your poster arrives damaged or defective, contact us within 14 days of receipt at hello@herbariumprints.com with your order number and a photo of the damage. We will send a replacement at no cost.

If you received the wrong print or size, contact us and we will ship the correct item immediately.

You have a 24-month right to complain about defective goods under Danish and EU consumer law. A defect must be reported within a reasonable time of discovery.

8. Cancellation

As production begins immediately after order confirmation, cancellation is only possible within 1 hour of placing your order. Contact us at hello@herbariumprints.com as quickly as possible. We cannot guarantee cancellation after this window.

9. Intellectual property

The Köhler illustrations are in the public domain. Our product photography, poster layouts, brand materials and website content are the property of Art by Barkwald and may not be reproduced without permission.

10. Liability

We are not liable for indirect losses, loss of profit or consequential damages arising from your use of our products or website. Our liability is in all cases limited to the value of your order.

We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to carrier delays, customs clearance or force majeure events.

11. Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by Danish law. Disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the Danish courts, except where mandatory EU consumer protection rules provide otherwise.

12. Complaints and dispute resolution

If you are dissatisfied with your order and we cannot resolve it directly, you may submit a complaint to:

13. Changes to these terms

We reserve the right to update these terms. The version published on our website at the time of your order applies to that order.
